David Rennyson has been promoted to president and COO of IVR and call center solutions company Angel.com.
Rennyson previously served as Angel.com's vice president of sales. His promotion follows the resignation of former president Michael Zirngibl (News - Alert).
While serving as VP of sales, Rennyson helped Angel.com achieve nearly 60 percent year on year revenue growth. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice president of sales and as vice president of marketing for Spirent Communications (News - Alert). While serving Spirent he developed and launched the company's IP services and field force management solutions, and also formulated account strategies and designed solutions for large telecommunications carriers. An 18-year veteran of the telecom industry, Rennyson also held positions at Zephion, Broadband Office and Bell Atlantic.
Angel.com offers IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and call center solutions that enable companies to deliver superior customer service. Its hosted solutions let companies build, manage, and deploy customized IVR and call center applications.
Angel.com made news on TMCnet last month when it announced the launch of a new SugarCRM (News - Alert) connector, enabling interoperability between Angel.com’s platform and SugarCRM’s open source business applications. This new offering phone enables SugarCRM accounts and makes it possible to access, collect and update customer information on the phone using one's voice.
