USA Datanet Chooses ShoreGroup's CaseSentry Solution for Network Management

By Mae Kowalke, TMCnet Associate Editor

For a provider of next-generation communications solutions, ensuring the quality and reliability of services is a very important part of doing business.

Knowing this, USA Datanet recently selected ShoreGroup, Inc., to perform network management.

USA Datanet is a provider of IP-enabled communications services geared toward the commercial, consumer and carrier markets. The company chose ShoreGroup’s CaseSentry Systems Management solution to ensure that network equipment is kept performing optimally.

In a press release, ShoreGroup explained that it has signed a multiyear agreement with USA Datanet, in which CaseSentry will be utilized to “maintain service-assurance through comprehensive systems and network management and service automation.”

Terms of the project, now in the implementation state, include management and monitoring of USA Datanet’s network layer devices, critical interfaces, servers, applications and databases.

USA Datanet also will be using CaseSentry’s automation modules to streamline service requests, change management, and systems integration.

“As we continue to expand the fully-hosted and traditional services that we offer to our commercial and carrier customers, we are committed to maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction,”

“Our mission is to offer an ever-expanding set of value-added, cost-effective IP communication services encompassing steadfast business-critical reliability,” USA Datanet Chairman and CEO David Montanaro said in a statement.

Montanaro added: “ShoreGroup's CaseSentry has proven itself to be effective in allowing us to create the unique ability to monitor, manage, integrate and automate the support of our network, applications and selected business processes.”
