Enterprise communication and collaboration is mission critical to success. And, in the ever-innovating space of communications it is vital to ensure the proper tools are in the place to meet a firm’s needs. To that end, in recent months we’ve seen Microsoft go through a transformation, and it is clear industry leading IP phones and unified communications solution provider Yealink (News - Alert) will be around to enjoy the ride.
Recently, Yealink announced the upcoming release of a desktop phone portfolio designed for use with Office 365/Skype. Microsoft (News - Alert) recently announced its Skype for Business Online Services as part of Office 365, which is set to debut Q1 2016. And, Yealink, the certified Microsoft Gold Communications Competency Hardware Partner has developed a suite of phones designed for easy deployment and usage while minimizing cost for Office 365 users.
Yealink’s IP phones for Office 365 include the T40P, T41P, T42G, T46G as well as the T48G. All featuring a “Modern Skype (News - Alert) for Business Interface,” rich phone functions and HD voice. Yealink’s offerings promise a synchronized user experience that leverages similar icons and workflow to Skype. Optimized functionality that includes support for Skype for Business cloud PBX (News - Alert) service, with a plethora of functions built in for use with the Skype for Business Server.
While many fret about the headaches of deployment, Yealink makes this as easy as possible by providing support for Skype for Business Server in-band provisioning. In addition, Yealink phones can come with Yealink’s software version of Skype for Business pre-installed making deployment as simple as plug-and-play.
Stone Lu (News - Alert), Vice President of Yealink exclaimed, “We are excited that Yealink phones will become one of the first qualified phones for the new solution.” He continued, “Our philosophy is to give every user of Office 365 the feeling of a tailor-made endpoint that integrates with their workflows and help increase productivity.”
As with all tools in the enterprise, it is vital to ensure one’s communications deployment is up for the task at hand. Yealink is a clear standout in the space of IP phones, and with this most recent announcement from Microsoft, Q1 could prove quite prosperous for Yealink.
