IP Phone Maker Yealink Comparing Big Brand Names to Value
By Rachel Ramsey, TMCnet Web Editor

In today’s economy, consumers think twice before they buy a big brand name product. Researchers have been examining price-performance ratios to find out if a big brand name really does add value.

People are aware of benefits of big brands and want all the perks: rich presence, fully integrated, end-to-end communication solutions embracing IM, SMS and email, and HD videoconferencing, but they want it at an affordable price.

Even with products found at the grocery store, buying store-brand products instead of big names can save money; filling a shopping cart with store brands saves an average of 30 percent.

Some shoppers still won’t try store brand products because they prefer name brands, the name brand tastes better and they don’t know if store brands are as high in quality.

Price-performance, a product’s ability to deliver performance for its price, can increase with solutions such as the Coraid Inc. and Veeam Software solution. The combination of Coraid EtherDrive SAN storage and Veeam Backup & ReplicationT enables customers to achieve backup and disaster recovery goals easily and quickly, with a five-to-eight times price-performance advantage over Fibre Channel-based solutions.

According to AAM, an insurance investment management company, private label products (store brands) and branded products don’t have such clear-cut differences anymore. The performance of private label products is now more a function of price and consumer confidence.

The lower price point was what got consumers more interested in private label products during the last economic recession, and the improved product quality and value proposition has kept the consumers coming back for more.

Yealink (News - Alert), a professional designer and manufacturer of IP telephones and videophones, has doubled its sales every six months since 2009. Resellers and their customers are attributing the values they previously associated with the market-leading brands, reliability, functionality and building quality, to Yealink.

TelcoDepot (News - Alert).com, an ecommerce VoIP equipment and VoIP service provider, has launched a new collection of Yealink business VoIP phone solutions on its website. Yealink is an award-winning brand that stands out when it comes to the overall quality of their phone system products and business calling features.
