snom and Camrivox Software Deliver CRM Telephony Integration for SMEs

snom technology AG, and Camrivox (News - Alert) have partnered to provide a Web-delivered CTI product for both new and existing snom IP Phone users. The alliance is expected to allow Computer Telephony Integration for On Demand CRM tools such as Salesforce.com (News - Alert), making it now possible with snom IP Phones regardless of the PBX infrastructure used.


Camrivox’s Flexor CTI (News - Alert) software will be loaded via the web onto the snom VoIP Phones linking to the users’ CRM and Outlook Applications. This will drive them to provide click-to-dial, screen pop ups and on screen telephony control for better customer retention and advanced business processes. As a result businesses will experience an increased ROI on the CRM tool investment.

Until now, Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) has relied upon a large investment in infrastructure, hardware and support staff. CTI has thus been limited to large organizations. The companies point out that in contrast to several Enterprise systems the Camrivox snom combination requires no additional servers for it to work.

snom will use the simple and cost effective Camrivox’s Flexor CTI software/ “snom connect” on its VoIP Phones to integrate CRM tools and Outlook. The software will also allow their PBX (News - Alert) interoperability Partners – hosted or premise based – to offer a VoIP CRM telephony solution to the channel partner without needing to complete any CRM interoperability requirements.

Expressing their delight to be working with snom, Malcolm Wood, CEO, Camrivox said in a statement that they can bring their Salesforce Partner and Microsoft (News - Alert) CRM status to snom and their partners. Between them they can offer a simple and cost effective CTI upgrade to those millions of Salesforce.com customers currently limited to expensive and complex Enterprise telephony offerings.

Wood added that Camrivox believes this allows the SME to reap the rewards of their CRM tool investment at a fraction of the cost of a server based CTI solution.

Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales for snom, Michael Knieling noted that this partnership makes it possible to turn snom phones into convergent work tools for sales people.
