By Beecher Tuttle, TMCnet Contributor

Du Pont Telecom (News - Alert) recently announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Nology, a supplier of security-driven broadband, networking and communication solutions. Through the accord, Du Pont will become an official distributor of Nology’s line of Yealink (News - Alert) VoIP phones, which simplify businesses communication with a high standard of security.

By collaborating with Nology, Du Pont Telecom will have the capability of distributing Yealink IP and video phones, modules and headsets throughout its territory. Currently, the company markets voice communication solutions throughout Africa.

“Yealink VoIP phones are a brilliant product and we were looking to import them ourselves when Nology approached us,” said Robert Don, Distribution Manager at Du Pont Telecom.

“The products themselves are very well manufactured and the speakers offer great clarity of voice, he added.” There is nothing on the market that can compete with the Yealink range in terms of value.”

Yealink VoIP phones are some of the most flexible and compatible phones on the market today. They are equipped HD voice technology, crystal clear LCD displays and intuitive touch screens. The products also feature a variety of aesthetic and ergonomic features, including full-duplex hands-free speakerphones, head-set boards and connectivity to Wide Area Networks (WANs).

Although the IP and video phones provide cutting-edge technology, they cost much less than comparable products.Du Pont has said that it will begin marketing the products to new and existing customers immediately.

Officials with both Nology and Dupont anticipate that the agreement will allow distributors and consumers to be able to acquire high-quality Yealink IP and video phones at an even more competitive price.

In related news, Yealink recently announced the launch of an adaptor that enables functions on its popular line of T26P and T28P IP telephones to be controlled through Jabra and Plantronics (News - Alert) wireless headsets. The adapter allows for easy and efficient wireless functionality, giving consumers the ability to direct, answer and terminate calls using a headset.
