As 2011 winds down, IP phone maker Yealink (News - Alert) is anything but short of news as the company is still trying to sneak in all the announcements and enhancements it can to its IP phone offerings before the year comes to a close.

In order to promote the benefits and value of its full-range VoIP desktop phones, the IP phone maker not only attended, but also sponsored two leading events in the industry last month to display the traction and influence its products provide in the VoIP market.  

Last month, at BroadSoft (News - Alert) Connections 2011 in Phoenix, AZ, Yealink exhibited its portfolio of IP phones on the show floor as well as served as a silver sponsor of the event to further support and strengthen its relationship with BroadSoft. BroadSoft Connections provides a platform to unite telecommunications service providers, network equipment providers, web developers, and IP device manufacturers to engage, network and collaborate about the latest industry trends including unified communications and mobile communication applications.

At the show, Yealink demonstrated its Yealink IP Phone (News - Alert) series including its award-winning T2x series and VP-2009P video phone which are both interoperable with the BroadWorks application server platform.

Speaking of collaboration, earlier this year, Yealink and BroadSoft also participated in additional events to exhibit their comprehensive business communications solutions to service providers, including ConvergenceIndia 2011, CommunicAsia 2011, Channel Partners and other telecommunications industry shows.

Aside from the BroadSoft Connections platform, Yealink continued to expand its presence last month in Denver, CO at AstriCon by exhibiting at the event as a platinum sponsor. AstriCon provided Yealink with the opportunity to showcase its product portfolio including its T2x business IP phone line, Video Phone and its latest successful product line, the T3x.

Since AstriCon focuses on expanding the awareness and knowledge of Asterisk (News - Alert) to professional at any level, the event was a perfect platform for Yealink to showcase its VoIP phones as they are all compatible with Asterisk.
