An enterprise or SMB network functions much like a symphony, requiring all components to work in concert. To say network operations are complex would be the understatement of the century, but thankfully this current round of digital transformation is simplifying operations with a barrage of software-defined solutions revolutionizing network management.
The star of this software-defined movement, SD-WAN is certainly stealing the spotlight – making the lofty projections for the space no surprise. And, in an effort to strike when the iron is hot and spread its wings, InfoVista recently announced a new member to its management team. Mark Pugerude (News - Alert) has been appointed to the role of Chief Sales Officer.
“InfoVista’s growth and acquisitions over the last few years have seen the company’s solutions portfolio diversify while significantly enhancing its ability to solve the key challenges surrounding network and application performance optimization,” said Philippe Ozanian, InfoVista (News - Alert) CEO. “Mark’s experience leading a global salesforce in selling complex solutions to carriers and enterprises will be a tremendous asset in helping our customers realize their goals.”
Tasked with building out InfoVista’s enterprise market share in the America’s, and expand the company’s presence in Asia and Europe, Pugerude is more than capable. He brings nearly 30 years of sales experience, amassing a long record of success with firms like Nokia, iconectiv and GENBAND (News - Alert). Pugerude will call the InfoVista North American headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia homebase, and will report directly to InfoVista CEO Phillipe Ozanian.
"I am amazed at the technical capabilities of InfoVista’s product suite and its ability to answer the business needs of the wireless optimization, NFV/SDN and SD-WAN markets, said Pugerude. “I am impressed with the team that Philippe has built, and I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of its ongoing success.”
