Sennheiser, Headsets.com Team to Release DeskMate Line

Provider of premium headset solutions Sennheiser and headset specialists Headsets.com have announced that they are releasing the DeskMate line, a new series of wired headsets for office workplaces and call centers.

This new series of wired headsets will be available exclusively through Headsets.com. The U.S.-based Headsets.com is a provider of office telephone headsets. According to the company, it carries the largest inventory of headsets and accessories from industry leaders as well as featuring its own Executive Pro line.

With this latest offering, the companies are targeting customers and users who are looking for a wired headset that offers them durability and “outstanding” sound quality at an affordable price.

The product range consists of HSC 230 single-sided and HSC 260 dual sided DeskMate headsets.

HD audio clarity is one of the key features of the DeskMate line. It includes Circleflex, which is Sennheiser’s patent pending dual hinge ear cup system. Company officials said that this patent pending system adapts seamlessly to the users’ ears for an instant perfect fit and uses leatherette ear pads.

Additionally, the DeskMate line headsets come with a metal reinforced headband, which helps the headset to withstand the stresses and strains of a busy office.

Additional features include a noise-cancelling microphone that filters out ambient noise for optimum speech clarity and Sennheiser HD Voice Clarity (News - Alert) wideband sound to ensure a more natural-sounding experience.

Company officials said that the new series of wired headsets also provides the advantage of Sennheiser’s ActiveGard for built in protection against acoustic shock and sudden sound surges.

The HSC 230 and HSC 260 are now available at Headsets.com.

Germany based Sennheiser is a manufacturer of microphones, headphones and wireless transmission systems.

Last month, Triade, the consumer electronics business unit of Computer 2000, part of the Tech Data (News - Alert) Group, signed a U.K. distribution agreement with Sennheiser Communications.
