Fibernetics Selects Telax Hosted Call Center Solution

Telax Hosted Call Center, a provider of contact center technology, announced that Fibernetics Corporation, a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) that offers VoIP products and services, has selected its contact center solution.

Fibernetics chose Metaswitch integrated contact center solution from Telax to replace its existing Automatic Call Distribution System (ACD). Fibernetics preferred Telax over other providers following a diligent RFP process organized by the Taylor Reach Group (News - Alert). Telax was one of the companies the Taylor Reach Group suggested.  


“We were already doing business with Fibernetics so we were familiar with them and we knew we would be a good fit,” said Mario Perez, president of Telax, “but the RFP process allowed us to outline what we can do to make sure this partnership was a good match. We are very pleased Fibernetics selected us.”

Fibernetics was attracted to Telax as they realized that Telax’s hosted call center offerings can adapt to the needs of companies of any size. Fibernetics was looking for a cutting edge contact center solution that would complement their rapid growth and the company required an infrastructure that could adapt and grow at the same rate as its business.  

The service also includes advanced reporting capabilities that measure the efficiency of their customer care. Telax’s customizable reporting system was a major factor in Fibernetics’ decision to choose Telax over the other companies involved in the competitive RFP process.

Telax’s flexibility and extensive experience with Metaswitch partners provide the functionality needed to meet Fibernetics’ demands. The flexibility allows companies to adopt these hosted call center technologies without needing to make any fundamental changes to Fibernetics’ existing infrastructure, the company said.

The hosted call center solution has helped Fibernetics use a proprietary digital PBX (News - Alert), a versatile platform that is able to integrate with the Telax solution. Calls to Fibernetics’ agents are routed through the Telax system and the local Digital PBX.

In another recent development Telax Hosted Call Center announced its formal entry into the franchise vertical by signing a partnership agreement with Vonigo.  Vonigo is the cloudware solution of choice for savvy multi-location service businesses and it provides unparalleled cloud computing solutions for their customers.
