In a bid to make it easier for solutions providers to meet the communications needs of SMBs in specialized verticals, networking and communications solutions provider ADTRAN, has announced today a new IP Communications Alliance Program that will bring the company together with other “best-in-breed” technology and service providers.
The newly announced ADTRAN Alliance Program will work with providers that complement the NetVanta 7000 converged IP PBX (News - Alert) Series, the company’s unique “office in a box” VoIP solution for converged SMB networks with complete voice and data networking for business locations up to 50 stations.
For the program, which includes both IPT Technology and SIP Trunking providers, the company has stated it is selecting products and services that “enable SMBs to increase productivity and efficiency while reducing costs through enhanced communications solutions.”
"The ADTRAN (News - Alert) Alliance Program allows us to guide our customers to many of the industry's leading solutions that complement the NetVanta 7000 IP PBX Series and meet businesses' individual needs," said Jeff Coke, president, VarData LLC. "By joining with innovative, recognizable and reliable providers for unified messaging, call recording, SIP phones, SIP trunking, speech recognition and more, ADTRAN is enabling us to provide SMBs with a complete multi-vendor communications solution that is proven and reliable."
IP Technology partners with interoperable solutions chosen for the alliance include: CounterPath, Incendonet, LifeSize Communications, Multi-Tech, Polycom, Resource Software International, SIP Print, and SNOM. Their offerings together with the NetVanta 7000 Series will make it possible to deliver new, more comprehensive solutions for business needs like desktop IP phones, DECT (News - Alert) Wireless Phones, softphones, call accounting and recording, unified messaging and telepresence/videoconferencing solutions.
The Alliance Program is also working with SIP Trunking providers whose offerings are interoperable with the NetVanta 7000 Series to make it more cost effective for SMBs to transition to converged voice and data networking. Currently, Bandwidth.com, BroadVox, Covad Communications, CommPartners Connect, Speakeasy and Voxitas have all joined the Alliance.
"We are working with innovative partners to further address the needs of our customers. This is the initial phase of our program, with plans underway for additional IP Telephony technology partners and SIP trunking service providers. Further expansion of the program will allow us to provide a broad range of interoperable complementary solutions to meet customers' expanding communication needs," said Chris Thompson (News - Alert), senior product manager, ADTRAN.
ADTRAN’s NetVanta product lines were
awarded “Best of Show” in the Editor’s Choice Category at TMC’s (News - Alert) INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO East 2009 held earlier this year in Miami.
“Outstanding companies like ADTRAN with their award-winning solutions, help to validate ITEXPO’s status as the leading forum in the communications industry,” said TMC President and Conference Chairman, Rich Tehrani. “Service providers, enterprise buyers, developers, and resellers come to ITEXPO, because they know they’ll find solutions from innovative companies like ADTRAN that can help their businesses today.”
