ClearOne, a global provider of audio conferencing solutions, reportedly announced the new INTERACT suite of products. This new suite of products is the latest of ClearOne’s (News - Alert) Professional and Premium Conferencing families of products.

Unique features of the INTERACT include enabling Unified Communications (News - Alert) in the conference room; USB port to connect to PC for Skype, WebEX and other Z/V conferencing applications; headset port connections to Cisco, Avaya and Nortel (News - Alert) handsets; ClearOne’s HD Conference and true stereo AEC; INTERACT 8i available for up to 16 microphones; integral network management system; interoperates with Net Streams’ IP audio systems; and it is easy to install, program and use.

The new product platforms include:

INTERACT PRO – a product family designed to provide for a complete audio system with unrivalled audio performance and application flexibility, this professional audio conferencing system delivers superior value at an economical price compared with other market products. All products directly connect to enterprise telephones, PC and HD video conferencing systems and emerging Unified Communication devices.

INTERACT AT – complete conference room solution, this platform offers flexibility and includes all the necessary audio equipment while also delivering top quality audio at an affordable price. The solution can be customized with multiple microphone and speaker options, direct connection to enterprise telephones, USB audio and room controller.

INRERACT 8i – as a microphone expansion unit for the INTERACT PRO platforms, this option adds 8 microphone capabilities to the INTERACT PRO system for a total of 16 microphone inputs necessary for conferencing, including the new stereo acoustical echo cancellation.

ClearOne is looking ahead to a more prosperous future. While the company reported a dip in overall revenue this year, the firm is seeing signs of improvement, Zee Hakimoglu, ClearOne’s president and CEO, told TMCnet, in an interview.

The company announced in November that it added a new member to its sales staff.

 

ClearOne named Buzz Goddard as vice president, worldwide residential sales. Goddard’s hiring follows ClearOne’s acquisition of NetStreams. In his new role, Goddard oversees global responsibility for NetStreams’ residential sales, including domestic and international channel partners and manufacturing representatives that are part of NetStreams’ global residential market presence.
