Esna Technologies (News - Alert) (Esna), a company that provides cloud-enabled communication and collaboration solutions, recently announced that it is all set to launch the new edition of its Cloudlink software.
Esna will launch Cloudlink 3.0, which integrates Cisco Collaboration solutions with cloud-based productivity applications such as Google (News - Alert) Apps, VMware Zimbra and Jive as well as on-premise solutions like Lotus Notes and Novell GroupWise. With Cloudlink, clients can schedule WebEx meetings, check other’s availability, make phone calls, and manage voicemail and faxes right from their company e-mail.
Cloudlink makes it easy for users to find, connect and collaborate live with others. Cloudlink runs in an existing virtualized environment and supports VMware Vsphere 4.x and higher. Cloudlink is Cisco (News - Alert) Compatible Certified for Cisco Unity Connection 8.5.1ES78 or 8.6.2ES20 and WebEx 27.
“Cloudlink 3.0 represents Esna’s ongoing commitment to deliver solutions that enable people to be more productive and effective through better collaboration,” said Lee Ho, VP of Marketing for Esna.
“Collaboration fuels innovation and with partners like Cisco and Google we are helping to reshape the way we connect and communicate with one another.”
Version 3.0 of Cloudlink now includes seamless integration with Cisco WebEx Web conferencing software. WebEx is the leading enterprise conferencing platform enabling companies to drive collaboration up and costs down.
Esna is also launching a stand-alone version of its Cloudlink for WebEx for organizations or individuals who are using WebEx, but not necessarily other Cisco collaboration solutions. Cloudlink for WebEx is a subscription-based service that comes with a free 30 day trial. Cloudlink 3.0 will be generally available beginning February 11, 2013.
Meanwhile, Esna has provided unified communications solutions to employees of Vassar College. The solution has been designed to seamlessly integrate the college’s Cisco phone system with Google Apps. The premier liberal arts college migrated its in-house mail and calendaring platform to Google Apps for Education, and then decided to replace its NEC PBX (News - Alert) system.
