Thrupoint's Personal Call Router Makes Enterprise Mobility a Snap

Today's workforce has become increasingly mobile, with many enterprise employees spending more time on the road than in their office. This change in philosophy has created the need for rich communication tools that are capable of working across a myriad of different end points, including mobile handsets, landline phones, desktops and tablet devices.

The PCR (News - Alert) app provides organizations with a number of features, including OneNumber Routing, OneNumber Call Management and OneNumber Contact Management. With PCR, users can provide just one number for all their fixed and cellular phones. Calls will be routed by assigned priority and redirected if a call goes unanswered.

Users can transfer calls to other extensions, screen unwanted callers and easily pull active calls from one device to another. PCR also enables one-click calling, hot-desking, email notification of missed calls and the ability to alter OneNumber settings from any Web browser.

In addition, PCR users can assign contacts to groups, route calls based on group membership and manage concurrent calls based on group priority.

These features can provide organizations with a number of benefits, including increased productivity, significant telecom cost reductions and the consolidation of phone numbers and voice mail boxes across the enterprise.
