OpenText BPS Group, a division of OpenText, a company that specializes in process management, case management, business architecture and enterprise fax over IP solutions, recently revealed the winners and finalists of its 2011 GlobalStar Enterprise Awards.

The awards were given to organizations “around the world dedicated to achieving real business value and competitive advantage using OpenText's business process management (BPM), business process analysis (BPA), business architecture, and case management solutions,” according to a press release.

Three finalists were announced for the awards. They included NASDAQ OMX which used the OpenText BPS solution to increase data quality and efficiency.

Another finalist was Channel 4 Television, which was looking to create an open and transparent working relationship with its suppliers. OpenText BPS allowed them to do so while strengthening their brand and reducing frustration.

The last finalist was PSCU Financial Services. The company wanted to improve customer service and decrease the number of phone calls and faxes needed to resolve customer service concerns. They found that the OpenText BPS has increased customer retention.

The two winners of the 2011 GlobalStar Enterprise Awards are AmerisourceBergen and Nationwide Building Society.

AmerisourceBergen is a pharmaceutical company which has recently established a BPM Center of Excellence. It has deployed and optimized almost 200 processes comprising 3,000 global users.

Nationwide Building Society has implemented an enterprise-wide BPM platform with workforce management, allowing them to increase member applications by over 400 percent. This is a far cry from the inefficient, manual process they once used.
