Jet Numbers Finds Value in DIDXchange

Jet Numbers is a valued member of the DIDXchange (News - Alert) (News - Alert). Founded by industry expert Sergio Fogel, Jet Numbers (News - Alert) relies on the technological endorsement of Uniotel, a Uruguayan company delivering robust, next generation telephony solutions.


Jet Numbers (News - Alert) uses a softswitch installed in the premises of 1&1, a global supplier of colocation services throughout the world. Jet Numbers also relies on a servant endorsement in Corporate Colocation in Los Angeles, California. 

While Jet Numbers was experiencing measurable success, it also had a few challenges in matching phones with phone numbers. Sergio noted that in partnering with DIDXchange, he and his colleagues were amazed to discover that an IP phone could be paired with phone numbers from countries where the owner did not physically reside.

In working with the DIDXchange, Jet Numbers saw the social and business benefits right away. In the past, devices were difficult to sell as there were continuous problems with the firewall. With phone numbers, however, it was easy to provide service and they were able to do more for users.
 
A differentiation in the DID phone number provider market for Jet Numbers is that the company can enable users to set their service so numbers ring to Skype (News - Alert) (News - Alert), PSTN, SIP or IAX or as voicemail in their e-mails. Jet Numbers can be purchased by anyone anywhere in the world, who can then put the phone numbers on their business cards, websites, e-mail signatures and more.

For example, a user may be in Uruguay physically, but has a Miami phone number for friends and family to call and a Tokyo phone number working like a virtual office for Tokyo businesspeople and consumers to call and do business. All calls are then local for friends, families, customers and colleagues, yet will end on the Jet Numbers' user's instant messenger, IP address or e-mail, depending on the choice of the user.
