DIDX and Brekeke Announce Interoperability

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

In a move that further promotes local presence for customers, Brekeke (News - Alert) Software, a developer and manufacturer of SIP platform products, has announced interoperability with DIDXchange.

The Pensacola, Fla.-based company is a registered and patented service of Super Technologies (News - Alert), Inc., and provides Direct Inward Dialing or “DID” phone numbers to IP communications companies.

Specifically, interoperability has been tested and completed between Brekeke PBX (News - Alert) and DIDX’s DID distribution service.

Service providers using Brekeke’s SIP platform products can now use DIDX’s global IP network and DID numbers to offer cost savings and a local presence in their virtual office and satellite locations.

According to Shin Yamade, CEO of Brekeke Software, thanks to DIDXchange's (News - Alert) wide coverage of local numbers, the new interoperability means service providers will never need to look for another DID provider.

“Local presence is very important for today's international companies and market especially when they can take advantage of VoIP communications built on Brekeke's robust platform.” Yamade said.

Establishing a local presence is also key during the economic recession as the demand for more phone calls increases and because it’s possible to call a local DID and pay only a local rate on the call.

According to Paul Turso, VoIP consultant, who introduced DIDXchange to Brekeke, “The complimentary API is ready for real-time provisioning, filtering for specific criteria and integration to third-party management tools like IP-PBX and SIP-based applications."
