Hostway Promotes Dedicated Server Purchase-Program "Kick It" to help Right to Play's Humanitarian Efforts

Brian Goldfarb, director of the developer platform group at Microsoft (News - Alert) said that Microsoft is pleased to work with partners such as Hostway to help build awareness about Right To Play with the 'Kick It' Windows Server promotion.

Goldfarb said that by building solutions on the Microsoft Web Platform and deploying onto Windows Server via the company's hosting partners, developers have a great power to change the world, both creatively and practically.

'Our mission is to use sport and play as a tool to help children build critical life skills, such as self-esteem, respect for oneself and others, tolerance, and teamwork. We believe this is critical to a child's development and must be fostered in order to create a safer, healthier and more productive society', said Johann Olav Koss, president and CEO, Right To Play.

Koss said that each week, almost 700,000 children attend regular Right to Play programming and special sports events made possible by the contributions of companies such as Microsoft along with its hosting partners.
