Salesforce and Epicor Software Now Integrated for Improved Customer Service Software

By Juliana Kenny, TMCnet Managing Editor

A new software solution from Alternative Technology Partners recently integrates data between Salesforce, the leading provider of CRM cloud computing software, and Epicor, another leading provider of ERP and CRM solutions.

Donna Barnett, chief technology officer at Alternative Technology Partners, stated in a recent release from the company, "Connect makes valuable customer information readily available to sales and service teams through a seamless centralized integration. In today's extremely competitive market, the quick availability of critical information can mean the difference between winning and losing.”

As a rapidly growing CRM and ERP solutions provider, Alternative Technology Partners announced the new software called Connect for Salesforce to seamlessly synchronize between the two enterprises in order to bridge the data gap. Bridging the gap between the two enterprise solutions will create efficiencies heretofore inhibited by the lack of communication between the two companies.

Barnett continued, “We've seen our customers struggle with this data gap and developed this turnkey solution based on a strong understanding of what businesses need.” Customer information has been difficult to access in an ERP system for both companies’ users, but with this new integration, it can be pushed to a mobile device for instant access while out of the office.

Connect enables Epicor to integrate with Salesforce in many ways including synchronizing Epicor customers to the Salesforce account, integrating Epicor’s Part Master to Salesforce products, and completing visibility of current and historical ordering.
