Conference Call / Audio Web services are continuing to grow in popularity for their ability to expand communications capabilities and support the global marketplace.
The latest move to support the growing technological capabilities provided by the services is to expand teleconferencing availability into more places across the world.
One area gaining particular interest is India.
Eagle Conferencing, who has been providing businesses in the US and Europe with teleconferencing services that allow competitive business environments and organizations around the world to get the most of their meetings, announced recently they will offer value-added services in India including phone conferencing capabilities, IVR
and voice mail.
As the Indian telecommunications market continues to increase, teleconferencing offerings are becoming not only appealing but necessary for the growth of communications across the world.
As Kent Charungundla, CEO and President of Eagle Teleconferencing noted in a recent interview with TMC's (News - Alert) Rich Tehrani, "We see potential for large growth for teleconferencing in developing markets such as India, where we have a strong presence. The growth in India last year was 109%."
Charungundla also noted during the interview that India is becoming an important focus as Indian enterprises are growing in the offshore / onsite market place to offer quality, efficient services. The country also has a large number of college graduates with optimized skills, which makes it an appealing choice.
Also, Charungundla points out that India is home to two of the largest fiber optics
companies, Reliance and VSNL (News - Alert), who have already fibered-up most of India-- making it possible to extend teleconferencing capabilities even to the smallest of villages. This is readying India to take part in the global market place.
