ShoreTel (News - Alert) officials have confirmed that their cloud division has teamed up with Transcend United Technologies, a global IT systems integration and managed services organization that focuses on unified communications, wireless and mobility, network and data center infrastructure, and backup recovery solutions to midmarket and enterprise customers.
This new partnership will allow Transcend United to offer ShoreTel’s cloud solution customers cloud-based voice, unified communications, mobility and contact center solutions, in addition to ShoreTel’s on-premises systems.
“Transcend United is dedicated to providing our clients with simple solutions that are an exact fit for their business,” said Richard Tarity, executive vice president of marketing and sales for Transcend United. “We couldn’t be happier to be able to offer clients a best-in-class solution from ShoreTel in the cloud or on-premise.”
Hosted VoIP, based on Call Conductor software developed in-house at M5, forms the heart of ShoreTel’s cloud communications solution. The inherent flexibility of the solution allows organizations to add unified communications and contact center capabilities as they need them.
The solution is backed by dedicated teams of cloud telephony experts who manage the entire experience, from an organization’s move to the cloud, to ongoing upgrades and maintenance, to support for users.
“Transcend United helps clients simplify their information technology initiatives at every stage - from support services to solution development to managing.” said Bob Maute, ShoreTel’s cloud division vice president of channels and alliances. “The ShoreTel cloud-solution is a natural fit for clients who want to manage their business, not their phone system. We are excited to have a partner with an approach so well aligned to our own.”
ShoreTel has also initiated M5 Channel Partner (News - Alert) Program specifically for value-added resellers and systems integrators who want to provide world-class, cloud-based phone systems and unified communications services to their customers.
