Momac Pacts with Mobistar to Develop Mobile Portal

To provide convenient, on-demand access to computing networks, servers, storage, applications, Momac has joined Mobistar to make a comprehensive mobile portal, to provide a cloud-based solution to the operator’s expanding activity needs.


According to a press release, this new portal integrates the client’s CRM system, enhancing end-user experience via an exceedingly personalized set of services and offerings.

The new mvolve platform is a fully integrated solution offering customers absolute control over their mobile assets while providing comprehensive support of HTML5, rich-media styling and content device adaptation that develop exciting mobile front-ends and user interfaces. 

Benoit Berthelot, Mobistar’s portal product manager said that this managed service results in a cutting-edge portal with much more flexibility, easily upgraded, with direct impact on sales and customer satisfaction.

This platform offers self-care functionalities that allow customers to independently control their accounts, and deep integration with social networks leverage the user social graph, driving page impressions and visitor retention.

By penetrating its CRM systems and tailoring content and offers to individual end-users, Mobistar can now transform customer data into a marketable asset with the help of mvolve.

Joost (News - Alert) Goeree, managing director of Momac Netherlands said that a major highlight is the integration of social networks and users can now consult Facebook and Twitter via the Mobistar mobile portal, enabling a unique customer experience.

 Now Momac manages the entire portal, including all games, full-track and ringtone storefronts. To further its consumer-centric service, integration of Mobistar self-care services are on the horizon.

In other company news, TMCnet reported that Mobistar has signed a contract for machine-to-machine, or “M2M,” applications with Touring for the "Safe Drive" project.
