To help enhance security operators and physical identity managers, NICE Systems has made its NICE Situator software interoperable with Quantum (News - Alert) Secure’s physical identity management solution. As a leader in intent-based solutions, NICE Systems will partner with Quantum Secure in this capacity to assist security operations in improving responses and mitigating risks and threats.

NICE Systems (News - Alert) is a provider of workforce optimization software that extracts insight to impact business performance, reduce financial risk, and ensure security and safety. Combining forces with Quantum Secure, a company offering enterprise software used to manage and streamline security identities, NICE will now be able to give its customers in the security sector better real-time views of what is happening and where.

Israel Livnat, president of NICE Security Group stated, “We are happy to make Quantum Secure’s physical identity management capabilities interoperable with NICE Situator. The addition of these capabilities will further help security operations improve response, mitigate risk, and comply with stringent regulations, such as NERC (News - Alert) CIP-004 and CIP-006 for electric utilities, which deal specifically with identity management and physical security.”

With a unified interface, the enhanced solution will enable operators to navigate between NICE’s and Quantum’s systems seamlessly. The Quantum Secure SAFE system is able to access historical information from systems to which its connected thereby supplying analysis sufficient to bring security information to a business intelligence level.

Ajay Jain, president and CEO of Quantum Secure, commented, “Today’s organizations are demanding interoperable solutions in order to create a homogeneous physical security ecosystem across all of their sites, systems, processes, and applications. NICE and Quantum Secure share a common vision in this respect and the interoperability of SAFE and NICE Situator is another step toward delivering these capabilities so organizations can meet heightened security and compliance requirements and streamline their operations.”

By anticipating, managing, and mitigating safety, security, and operational risks, NICE’s security offerings are used by governments and enterprises with intent-based solutions for fighting crime and terror. The solutions enable organizations to prevent, manage, and investigate incidents in real time.
