GMT Corp. to Demonstrate Workforce Management Solutions

By Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor

GMT Corp. will be showing off its expanded flagship enterprise workforce management solutions, GMT Planet and GMT On-Demand, at the 42nd Annual National Association of Federal Credit Unions Conference and Exposition.

The Norcross, Ga.-based industry player in enterprise workforce management and performance optimization solutions leverages its GMT Planet for use at the enterprise level throughout the world in an effort to schedule contact center agents, bank tellers, sales and branch management personnel, and back office staff.

In addition to demonstrating its Software as a Service, or SaaS (News - Alert) tools, the company will demonstrate its GMT SureServices, a suite of end-to-end client lifecycle professional services that ensures client success throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.

The event is schedule to be held July 21 to July 25, 2009, in National Harbor, Md.

In May, the company launched the “Lanier” version of its GMT Planet designed to provide a  number of customer and market-driven enhancements, significant performance improvements and new product capabilities.

Built out as an easy-to-use and affordable workforce management solution, GMT Planet is designed to help credit unions increase sales conversions, improve member satisfaction and reduce labor costs in its branch, contact center and back office operations, according to Simon Angove, chief executive officer of GMT.

“Because credit unions have a long and rich heritage of providing superior member service, this conference is an ideal venue to show credit union executives how workforce optimization can help them achieve the member service and bottom-line results they desire to remain competitive in the market,” said Angove.

In April, GMT released a white paper describing five best practices for banks designed to ease the decision making burden many branch mangers face.

The white paper, titled “Making Workforce Optimization Effective: Top Five Best Practices for Driving Behavior Change in Branches,” is the latest addition to GMT’s Executive White Paper (News - Alert) Series that details strategies to maximize the adoption of workforce optimization strategies throughout the bank’s branches in order to achieve all the potential benefits from a workforce optimization program, according to Dave Marcus, senior vice president of GMT.

At the conference, the company can be found in booth #440.
