AOTMP, an information services company that operates its own AOTMP University telecom management training and certification program, recently announced an update to that training program which includes a host of new courses.
The company says these updates are arriving to better reflect the demands of today's job market in the telecom management industry. This means the new courses and certifications will tackle management of both fixed and mobile infrastructures in order to bring best practices to telecoms globally. David King (News - Alert), the senior vice president of Efficiency First operations at AOTMP, spoke in his company's announcement about the need for proper management training.
“Telecom management training allows an organization to ensure its employees have baseline knowledge as well as standardization of best practices and consistency across the organization,” King said. “Organizations realize alignment of workflow, increased efficiencies throughout the organization, and create the foundation for a center of excellence. Certified individuals also ensure they are implementing best practices, which brings increased job satisfaction and professional development to make them more desirable in the workplace.”
One primary update the University has received is the addition of a new online interface. Now, students can easily navigate their ways through assigned courses. They can also keep track of courses they have finished and get an overall view of what it will take to complete a whole level of certification.
Ease of navigation will be necessary for individuals who want to complete either role-based certifications or professional certifications. Those which are role-based may invoice auditing or mobility, among many others, AOTMP points out. Professional certifications also come in a variety of levels from Silver to Gold, Platinum, and Master. Many role-based certifications are required to reach these levels of expertise.
For any telecom that wishes to solidify the knowledge of its management, AOTMP can deliver a number of courses that will fit the bill. Whether they are looking for specific courses for clearly-defined roles or perhaps overall management training that will span an entire organization, AOTMP appears to have those choices and the commitment to making sure industry executives are on the right path.
