Etelesolv, a Canadian company that deals in telecom and IT management solutions, recently announced that its Telemanager solution has been selected by a Canadian engineering and construction firm to manage its wireless devices.
Telemanager is a Wireless Expense Management (WEM) solution designed to helps companies manage their wireless assets and services. The solution is described as bringing Service Management and Asset Management together to provide an end-to-end telecom and IT management solution. It aims to help companies maintain an accurate account of their resources and assign services and devices to specific employees, departments and divisions. According to Etelesolv officials, users can activate, decommission, store and reallocate inventory with the click of a button, and can construct in-system product catalogues of approved devices and services, as well as generate approval flows and send work orders automatically.
“One of the major ways in which Telemanager, our flagship product, will help our newest partner is in avoiding bill shock, a common and costly problem among Canadian companies with such a strong international presence,” said Nitin Khatri, VP of sales of Etelesolv, in a press release. “Through a centralized management system, we provide our clients with increased visibility, generating a more accurate statement of company telecom spending. Etelesolv gives its clients the tools it needs to control its wireless expenses, allowing companies to drive productivity in their own areas of expertise.”
Etelesolv recently released a Telecom Expense Management Industry Association ePaper, "BYOD: Do’s and Don’ts,” that sets out to help IT companies understand the value of their technology investments. Telecom expense management helps companies better manage BYOD devices and helps companies decide eligibility, enrolment, tracking devices and applications.
