ISI (News - Alert) Telemanagement Solutions, Inc. along with collaboration service fulfillment company VOSS Solutions, will be co-exhibiting at this year’s Cisco Live 2012 show (Booth #538) June 10-14, in San Diego. The partnership was officially announced at Enterprise Connect (News - Alert) in March 2012, where the companies’ combined solution was well received; being selected as one of only six finalists in the Best of Enterprise Connect Awards. The partnership between these two high-tech heavyweights will allow global organizations to access exclusive business data that would otherwise be spread across the network infrastructure.
ISI UC Practice Leader David Dishek praised the recent formal agreement stating, "We are excited to be exhibiting with VOSS at Enterprise Connect. Our UC Business Analytics Solution is the only integrated solution of its kind that enables customers to manage the deployment of UC applications and devices, while providing reporting and analytics on the usage of those applications and devices.”
By implementing UC-BAS, organizations gain access to real-time reports and on-screen dashboards. These features let the user quickly track service and trunk utilization, resource and license consumption and access traditional telecom expense management. This in turn will produce operating and capital cost savings and allow companies to more efficiently distribute costs across various business units.
UC-BAS is comprised of four vital features that address key issues facing the enterprise communications industry today. These include:
- Real-time call status (fixed-line, wireless and contact center)
- Real-time UC service activation and device inventory status
- Reporting on all costs of communications (calls + UC)
- Business analytics (dashboards, reporting and analytics)
Zeus Kerravala, a prominent figure in unified communications, provided insight on the partnership and its expected effectiveness in delivering results. “I thought the partnership between VOSS and ISI to develop the first enterprise-oriented business analytic tool for UC deployments was a great stab at solving a real problem with where the market is going…this addresses a bigger need than many people fully realize. UC clearly isn’t a ‘one size fits all' type of market. No company is going to give ALL UC tools to EVERYONE. That would be a huge waste of money. But how does one know what to deploy to whom? The VOSS-ISI UC-BAS solution provides a real-time dashboard that tracks consumption of tools and utilization of UC services in addition to all that TEM stuff. Deploying organizations can use this to understand things like, what is the company paying for UC? Who is using the resources? Again, not exactly the stuff movies are made of, but certainly necessary nonetheless.”
