Etelesolv put forward a proposal for wireless expenses control earlier this year and the company announced its acceptance on Monday.
Etelesolv has signed a Telecom Expense Management contract with a famous performing arts and entertainment company that was searching to reduce charges due to its roaming from country to country.
Traveling as an international company is a normal part of business but enterprises have to bear the different corporate rate plans that typically do not change for travelers.
As a result of this companies have to foot a huge telecom bill each month because it is difficult to find any simple solution to this problem.
This performing arts and entertainment company was finding it difficult to gain a clear visibility and understanding of wireless expenses across the company, and thus turned to Etelesolv’s Telemanager.
Based in Montreal, Quebec, Etelesolv is a Canadian provider of telecom expense management (TEM) for large Canadian multinational corporations. The company offers its unique software platform, TeleManager, which consolidates both business intelligence and operational processes around telecom and IT services while helping clients manage multiple suppliers.
For this project, Telemanager will provide this performing arts and entertainment company with various controls to help them optimize wireless rates on a monthly basis. The agreement also includes changing employee behavior to make them accountable for their monthly costs.
“Telecommunications is a must for an international company. Employees need access to wireless devices as they travel and keep in touch wherever they are located” said Christopher Thierry, president of Etelesolv, “Alerting employees, optimizing costs, centralizing procurement and providing employee access to manage their own services will lead to multiple cost and time savings.”
