Technologies for Effective Remote Collaboration: Nureva Solution Now Integrates with PTZOptics Cameras

Only a few days remain before ITEXPO 2024 is finally upon us, readers! This event, which is part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW experience taking place from February 13-15 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will be packed to the brim; attendees can check out panel discussions, networking events, a robust exhibit hall and much more as technology leaders and entire teams come together to showcase their business solutions.

Speaking of, let’s talk about one of the latest solutions from advanced audio conferencing solutions provider, Nureva Inc. With representatives in more than 35 countries across six continents, Nureva provides solutions to organizations all over; for Proctor & Gamble, HubSpot, the BBC, Oxford, and plenty more – Nureva is driven by its focus on “simple, creative solutions to problems that stand in the way of teams working together effectively to achieve real collaborative value,” according to Nureva CEO Nancy Knowlton.

So, Nureva’s latest? Simple – its HDL410 audio conferencing system now officially integrates with PTZOptics Move 4K and Link 4K cameras.

This is great news. By using Nureva’s sound location device API (which is available through the Nureva Developer Toolkit), the integration allows coordinate-based sound location data from the Nureva HDL410 system to steer the PTZOptics 4K cameras accurately and smoothly to where people are speaking in the room. And at a time when seamless multi-camera solutions are becoming needed more often for larger spaces (especially where IT teams must create a more inclusive and functional experience for in-person and remote participants alike), this solution fits the bill.

Per Knowlton at Nureva:

“We are delighted that PTZOptics has joined Nureva’s ecosystem of third-party camera tracking integrations that leverage our sound location data with the HDL410 system. This opens the door to broader deployment of camera tracking by our mutual customers to deliver the enhanced audio and video experience that has become essential for effective remote collaboration.”

And per Geoffrey Robinson, Senior Product Manager at PTZOptics:

“We are very excited to announce the integration of the PTZOptics Move 4K and Link 4K cameras with the Nureva HDL410 system. This integration enables us to automate camera tracking and switching based on the active speaker in a room. It will be available through a free firmware update, and it supports our goal to continually add new features and capabilities through the life cycle of our cameras.”
