Patton Acquires Tone Commander, Strengthens Secure Communication Solutions

Patton, a provider of VoIP and mission-critical communication solutions, has announced its acquisition of Tone Commander. The acquisition of a 100% shareholding in Tone Commander represents a move to expand and enhance their offerings in the defense and intelligence sectors.

Tone Commander offers secure telephony solutions tailored to the unique needs of this market. The products they offer provide durability and long life cycles so they are ideal for both industrial and government applications.

The acquisition strengthens Patton's dedication to U.S. manufacturing and its foothold in the telecommunications industry, as well as offers more support to the US Government with specialized and customized communication products.

Tone Commander’s SIP Phone products are listed on the APL, and have both JITC and TSG-6 certifications for use in secure facilities.

With each of their respective expertise, resources, and technology, Patton will be able to expand the suite of products and solutions it provides for government and industry clients to include things like secure VoIP and other tailor-made communication products.

Patton recently announced the release of the CL2380R ruggedized network extender bringing together fiber connections with six local and two long-range Ethernet interfaces all in one device.
