Jabra Announces AI-Powered Updates to PanaCast 50

Hybrid meetings have become prominent in today's work landscape. With a combination of in-person and virtual attendees, organizations must offer seamless and engaging meeting experiences for all participants, regardless of their physical presence.

To meet this need, Jabra announced it’s collaborating with Microsoft to enhance its PanaCast 50 and PanaCast 50 Room System with the addition of new AI-powered features. This includes Microsoft IntelliFrame for multiple video streams and face and voice recognition technology.

These new features aim to revolutionize meetings so employees can make the most of their work day regardless where they’re connecting from.

To help boost productivity during meetings, the new collaboration will include intelligent front-of-the-room Teams Rooms on Windows video bars and Teams' voice recognition capabilities.

With intelligent recap in Teams Premium, automatically generated meeting notes, recommended tasks, and personalized highlights are made possible. Also Microsoft IntelliFrame offers a dedicated camera view for present speaker, past speaker and full room panoramic views so they have a more inclusive remote experience.

The system also comes equipped with a new Jabra Intelligent Meeting Space feature for virtual boundaries and meeting spaces to be set and defined. PanaCast 50 can exclude people who are visible through glass walls and are not part of the meeting boundary that’s set.

To support IT managers and partners, Jabra is also offering a reimagined management platform to access all the capabilities they offer while reducing the time and effort needed to manage them. Wider availability is planned by the end of this year.
