InteractiveTel Acquires TruMobility

In today’s digital age, companies require communications and collaboration tools that allow them to be competitive and productive in their respective markets. To put it simply, legacy technologies do not meet the demands of today’s business.


Car dealerships, as an example, need cloud-based communication tools to stay competitive in their industry. Don’t push away a potential sale because the sales team missed a call. Implement a way to have members available during work hours via phone call, instant messages or text messages. Maybe even implement a way AI technology handles the call.

InteractiveTel provides AI-driven communications services and customer interaction analytics. As a way to expand the reach of the automotive industry customer interactions and communications, InteractiveTel acquired the assets of TruMobility, a business VoIP service provider offering bundled and integrated Hosted VoIP to small business customers. TruMobility team members joined InteractiveTel with the deal.

TruMobility developed a business communications solution that substantially lowers communication costs to increase mobile productivity and eliminate coverage gaps to improve call quality in the office. With TruMobility, businesses lower communication costs, increase mobile productivity, eliminate coverage gaps, and improve call quality in the office. 

Through the acquisition, TruMobility's business customer base will have access to InteractiveTel’s TotalCX customer experience intelligence platform and SenseiCX call performance training solution.

The TotalCX Customer Experience solutions suite combines AI and automation with people power to help automotive dealers accelerate decision-making. Ultimately, this will result in better service, faster sales and more satisfied customers.

The TotalCX end-to-end sales and service intelligence engine will work with any on-premises or cloud-based phone system, including InteractiveTel's Hosted PBX.

“Customers will have an elevated experience and access to products and services that are exclusive to InteractiveTel,” said InteractiveTel CEO Gary Graves. “Growing our customer base is part of our accelerated growth plan to fulfill our goal of improving customer experience and changing consumer perception in the automotive industry.”

InteractivelTel also acquired TruMobility’s contract with a data center in Seattle. The data center was established to service TruMobility customers and is another point of expansion for west coast coverage.

The asset acquisition closed Aug. 26. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
