Nextiva Transforms Florida Panthers' Communications

The Florida Panthers, although a decent side in recent seasons, transformed their play on the ice to hold the best record in the NHL for the 2021-22 regular season. Now, the Panthers jump-started their digital transformation for high performing communications to boost the fan experience as well.


Panthers fans likely recall the team using a communications system with limited call center functionality or advanced features. This prompted the organization to seek a partner capable of taking their communications to the cloud – and they did. Nextiva will serve as the Panthers’ official communications partner.

Nextiva’s business communications system was picked to boost the Panthers’ phone service to support fans as they buy tickets, purchase Panthers gear and attend games. Fans will immediately notice a difference.  For instance, those who call to purchase tickets or place orders will now have the option to wait in a queue or receive a callback while listening to messages about upcoming events.

The Panthers received signature Nextiva white glove concierge service, which extends to the Panthers IceDen and FTL War Memorial community hub. The service includes a customized, hands-on approach to every aspect of the experience, from pre-sale consulting and solution design to implementation and dedicated ongoing customer support.

The Nextiva solution will also ensure the Panthers’ IT team can seamlessly manage the system from anywhere. A technical account manager and enterprise account manager will ensure a smooth transition to Nextiva, on-site implementation and ongoing support.
