New Vidi 150 Conferencing Camera from Biamp

May 26, 2022

Video meetings are becoming a standard in today’s workplaces. Now, more than ever people are opting to connect and collaborate virtually instead of gathering in person. In addition to maintaining social distancing, this also opens up businesses to bringing in global talent and expanding their reach beyond borders.

To bring high-quality, easy-to-use video conferencing cameras to huddle rooms and SMB conference rooms, Biamp has introduced the Vidi 150, a professional-grade conferencing camera complete with user-definable presets, new manual pan/tilt/zoom capabilities, participant framing and more.

Commenting on the recent launch, Joe Andrulis, executive vice president of corporate development at Biamp, said Vidi 150 was created to offer customers the features they needed in a modern workplace and to make top-notch collaboration possible.

“The recently announced Vidi 100 is receiving excellent feedback for its value and essential features. Now the Vidi 150 joins our line of conferencing cameras, offering new auto-framing functionality and providing our customers with a wider array of video options to meet their unique conferencing needs,” said Andrulis.

Both the Vidi 150 and the Vidi 100 offerings from Biamp are designed to be cost-effective while offering excellent picture and audio quality for small and medium-sized rooms and huddle spaces.

For those requiring even more advanced features, the Vidi 250 includes flexible mounting options, a 12MP sensor that supports 4K video with a 120-degree field of view and electronic pan-tilt-zoom. It also has premium optics to remove the possibility of image distortion and includes smooth communications, participant framing, zoom, and focus - and more.

The goal of Biamp’s offerings is to provide optimized audio visual experiences for conference rooms, open floor environments, performing arts venues, stadiums, courtrooms, hospitals, transportation hubs, classrooms, retail and hospitality environments, and government facilities.

Also included in Biamp’s lineup of offerings are:

  • Tesira - digital signal processors
  • Devio - conferencing hubs
  • Modena - wireless presentation systems
  • Impera - control systems
  • Apprimo - touch interfaces
  • Cambridge - sound masking solutions
  • Vocia - networked public address and voice communication systems
  • Desono - business audio loudspeakers
