Startup keepwith Launches Networking App that Uses AI and NLP

Chicago startup keepwith has launched new technology that aims to help people build stronger, more authentic and more meaningful relationships. The keepwith app is designed to enable users to manage their networks in more strategic and meaningful ways by using AI, machine learning and natural language processing (NLP).


The app offers a personalized, interactive solution that provides targeted suggestions to help users network more productively. It is available through iOS and Android as well as a web interface.

“Our isolation and difficulty with building relationships started long before the pandemic, but it has since become a crisis,” said Megan Burke Roudebush, founder of keepwith. “People are hungry for ways to connect meaningfully –- which is the driving force behind keepwith. Real, authentic networking is hard. keepwith makes it easy to connect with the world, colleagues, friends and extended networks the right way.”

A number of organizations are already testing the solution, including the Girl Scouts of Florida, apparel company Three Commas and a Chicago asset management firm. Features of the keepwith solution include offering one central location for all personal and professional networking activity and connections. The app has a double opt-in feature that requires individuals to consent before proceeding with an introduction to protect privacy. It will also offer enhanced security through compliance with SOC 2, GDPR and CCPA.

keepwith has already raised nearly $1 million in seed money and has secured a commitment for Series A funding. The seed money was used for app development, strategic partnerships, content licensing and financing for the keepwith team. keepwith plans to use Series A funding to scale the company, improve the technology and broaden the app's reach.

The company's solution is being beta tested and keepwith is currently looking for a group of 10,000 users to test the platform through the end of May. Companies and individuals interested in the solution can contact keepwith through its website.
