John Owen Named CEO Of Route Mobile

UK-based cloud communications service provider Route Mobile has announced John Owen as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer of the company’s European and American business operations.

Owen’s appointment comes at a turning point for Route Mobile, as the company has plans for wide expansion over the next ten years. Before joining Route Mobile, Owen held the CEO position at Mastek, as well as a number of executive positions at companies including Serco, HP, Sycamore Networks and Nortel.

"Following the successful IPO of Route Mobile, we have been clear that we will now want to strengthen our global management capacity and capability in order to support our growth aspirations. I am extremely pleased that we have attracted a seasoned professional like John who has an excellent track record as CEO." commented Rajdipkumar Gupta, Managing Director and Group CEO, Route Mobile.

Bringing nearly 30 years of experience in leadership, Owens hopes to make Route Mobile a force among the growing competition in the cloud communications market.
