EnvlivenHealth Collaborates with Twilio for Patient Engagement Solutions

Medication management solutions company Omnicell is joining cloud communications provider Twilio to offer new patient engagement solutions to transform the modern pharmacy. Omnicell will be enlisting the help of it’s EnlivenHealth division to take charge of the project, and will leverage Twilio’s cloud technology to create improvements to customer engagement and connection.

Both companies will combine talents and resources to offer pharmacies convenient tools to assist with routine customer inquiries, so that pharmacists and health professionals can shift their attention to other critical tasks that cannot be automated. The new solutions will showcase features like personalized communications, which includes SMS texting, chatbots, and conversational IVR for both inbound and outbound calls.

EnlivenHealth's Patient Engagement Platform is currently used by more than 30,0000 pharmacies across the nation, and will likely rise as more businesses adapt engagement solutions to help manage workflow in the COVID era. Though businesses are primarily using this technology to make business operations run more smoothly, studies have shown that improved patient engagement can actually have a positive effect on health outcomes.
