Granite Announces 'Spring Into Action' Wellness Program

Telecommunications service provider Granite has announced a new wellness initiative for the company’s Granite Gives Back Wellness 2021 charity program. Called “Spring Into Action” , Granite executives hope to inspire mental, emotional, and economic health by encouraging employees to connect with local businesses and community endeavours.

“As part of our commitment to supporting charitable organizations through our Granite Gives Back Wellness 2021 program, we’re encouraging our employees to ‘spring into action’ and get out and moving this April by supporting fun runs and walks to raise funds for worthy community causes,” said Granite CEO Rob Hale.

Granite specializes in providing a one-stop solution for business communications services, including SD-WAN, internet access and managed security. As many customers and employees are still wrestling with social distancing and remote access, Granite executives decide to use the month of April as an opportunity to shed light on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle during this stressful time. Employees and customers alike can use this opportunity to use digital technologies to support health living, with virtual health resources that can be accessed from any location.

To encourage physical activity for the month of April, Granite teammates will have full access to free virtual fitness classes in yoga, strength training and cardio. Granite has also announced that it will be supporting two events this month, the Children’s Home Society of Florida and Their Virtual Heroes 5K on April 24, and the Eversource Virtual Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital on June 13.
