Enreach Buys Botsquad, Adds Conversational AI to Portfolio

European Unified Communications solutions provider, Enreach, has announced the acquisition of Netherlands-based Botsquad, a provider of advanced conversational AI solutions.


As part of the purchase, Enreach has gained its portfolio of accessible chatbot options and has integrated the technology into its portfolio of solutions. It’s also making it available to the SMB market as a turnkey solution.

With the Botsquad platform, partners and customers can build sophisticated systems that have pre-configured components. This can be done quickly using an easy online tool.

Company officials said they would continue to invest in advancements of the technologies to take the AI solutions beyond just text-based chat to even more voice services.

Specifically, enhancements will be made to its cloud PBX portfolio and contact center solution.

Plans include the upgrade of traditional digit-based IVR systems to make it possible for customers to use conversations for the prompts and responses rather than pressing numbers on a keypad.

The two companies worked together before the acquisition to provide conversational AI to a joint customer.

Conversational voice AI can also be used for applications like agent quality surveys, intelligent voicemail, and auto attendance, or voice-based booking solutions.
