Life Sciences Communication Platform Within3 Announces New Funding

In any discussion about life sciences today, the topic is bound to turn to the development of an effective vaccine for COVID-19. Many trials are underway, some already in phase three, which involves thousands of volunteers who have received the vaccine and need to communicate with health care professionals about their symptoms, side effects and any testing they’ve undergone. Underlying this process, there needs to be effective real-time communication platforms.

For life sciences companies to be successful, they need to engage with key stakeholders: this includes doctors, researchers, patients and health insurance companies. It’s not an easy prospect, as there are legal and ethical constraints involved in communicating healthcare information, and state and federal compliance of regulations must be observed. According to the company, the new round of funding will be used to accelerate product innovation, build infrastructure to outpace growing demand, and fuel international expansion.

According to Within3, 20 out of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies already use the company’s platform for global collaboration to bring drugs to market more quickly, publish clinical studies, host advisory boards, and engage virtually on business initiatives with multi-stakeholder involvement.
