MaxoTel Brings VoIP to Australia with Help from Grandstream

The benefits offered for users of VoIP technology are continuing to take the world by storm - especially as many areas begin to rebuild post-pandemic shutdowns. The need to cut costs while also connect and communicate is growing.

According to a report by Global Market Insights, Inc., the VoIP market is predicted to grow from $20B in 2018 to around $55B by 2025.

In Australia, Maxo Telecommunications, an ITSP and hosted phone system solutions provider is working to help resellers gain access to high-quality hosted VoIP offerings. The company announced a partnership with Grandstrean to offer its GRP series of Carrier-Grade IP Phones in the region.


Grandstream has been providing SIP UC solutions and products for businesses since 2002. The company’s offerings help to lower communication costs, increase security, and enhance productivity. With open standard SIP-based products, it is able to offer broad interoperability with its solutions and advanced feature sets.

As per the partnership, MaxoTel will be offering Grandstream’s GRP series of Carrier-Grade IP phones for its system integrator, installer, and reseller customers located throughout Australia.

The Grandstream GRP2600 series phones are next-gen IP phones for high-volume and enterprise businesses. They offer Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, and support up to 10 lines.

“The newest GRP range of Grandstream VoIP Handsets significantly reduces the total cost of ownership, giving customers the ease of use and flexibility that they expect from a premium phone system. Automated deployment with drag-and-drop customization on our centralized device management platform provides our customers with the tools to make their own changes while keeping average support answering times under 15 seconds,” commented Alex Rich, Managing Director of MaxoTel.
