CommsPlus Signs Master Agent Agreement for Avaya Cloud Office in Australia

June 26, 2020

CommsPlus Distribution, a provider of solutions for communication vendors in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea is dedicated to providing its partners with innovative solutions. In a move to further tap into the growing cloud-based UC market in Australia it recently signed a new Master Agent agreement with Avaya.

The new partnership will allow CommsPlus to distribute Avaya’s UC platform to its vendor partners including products from Avaya like Avaya Cloud Office so businesses have the cloud communications tools they need to collaborate better and deliver top quality services - wherever they are working from.

Included in the all-in-one UCaaS platform are team messaging capabilities, conferencing, voice calls, file sharing, and more. This latest reseller agreement also includes the distribution of Avaya’s open SIP, multi-platform devices, and IP Office solution for agents, value-added resellers, and system integrators.

“With this partnership announcement, we’re continuing to modernize the ‘experience’ and communication technology market in Australia and around the world,” said Steve Williams, Channel Director Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) at Avaya.

“Avaya Cloud Office provides Australian organizations with the tools to adapt to the new world of work while saving time, resources, and money on their communications strategies. With CommsPlus, we will enable our joint partners and agents to accelerate their ability to help Australian organizations to innovate quickly and simply without having to make heavy, up-front investments.”

Avaya was the perfect choice for CommsPlus as it has training and technical centers located in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane and can provide needed support for the local market. This was a great fit for the agent recruitment efforts CommsPlus has launched in the area to offer pre- and post-sales support, billing and subscription management, marketing and tech training, and ore for resellers.

Commenting on the new partnership and its perfect timing to assist with distributed workforces, Paul Bailye, Group General Manager at CommsPlus said, “When you combine Avaya’s solution set with our services portfolio, our partners have the opportunity to expedite their customers’ adoption of comprehensive cloud communications no matter how diverse or dispersed their operations may be.”

“This partnership also enables our voice resellers to easily create and build recurring revenue streams and expand their own portfolios as part of the market’s wider adoption to cloud communications.”
