Evolve IP Prioritizes Telemedicine Solution Deployments During COVID-19

April 24, 2020

Healthcare providers and those on the frontline of the current COVID-19 pandemic have arisen as the great heroes of the time. In addition to assisting those patients with the disease, they are also going to work each day to ensure others have access to the care they require. For many doctors offices and other health facilities who regularly see patients in-person change in the form of video technologies have taken place.

Telemedicine solutions are being used across the globe to connect doctors and patients. These offerings are required to also be HIPAA and HITRUST compliant.

Evolve IP announced it will be prioritizing its deployment of these collaboration solutions as we fight the coronavirus pandemic.

With deployment provided in less than 48 hours, organizations can begin taking advantage of the services and improving outpatient care while maintaining safe social distancing.

The telemedicine solutions which feature technologies from Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, and VMware, can be integrated for collaboration, communications, mobile desktop and EHR, and EMR applications so employees can work remotely while keeping patient information secure.

Apria Healthcare was able to make use of Evolve IP’s telehealth solution to quickly get its 300 branch locations with over 3000 employees up and running remotely.

Xavier Coto, VP of IT Infrastructure for Apria Healthcare commented on the partnership saying, “A telehealth solution that was easy to deploy and also secure and reliable was critical. Evolve IP’s solution with remote office capabilities was easy to install and very user-friendly. They were able to get the solution to us quickly and provided valuable user-based educational tools to make the roll-out seamless with little to no issues. We were fortunate to have this solution available to us and happy with the support Evolve IP has given us through these unprecedented times.”

The company also recently partnered with charity Fuel The Fight to help raise funds to support healthcare workers who are battling COVID-19. It is also supporting local restaurateurs and employees who have closed their businesses and has raised over $77,000 in Philadelphia and nearly $225,000 nationally.
