Tritium Picks RingCentral Australia for Digital Transformation

February 25, 2020

Australian tech company Tritium recently took a leap into the modern communications world with the help of RingCentral Australia. The designer and manufacturer of chargers for electric vehicles needed a way for its employees at offices located across the globe and its customers to easily connect and collaborate.

As the company has been experiencing global growth, it needed a way to continue supporting staff so they can get their job done in the most efficient way possible. It also needed a way to be future ready to address customers in the communications channels they prefer.

Tritium's IT managed services provider AVTech introduced them to their partner, RingCentral Australia, to provide the necessary services for their digital transformation needs.

Previous technology at Tritium office locations was limited to voice only legacy phones and separate vendor agreements. It was also hard for the teams to collaborate and customer communications were not optimal. There was also no support for mobile needs of traveling employees.

Another area Tritium really needed help with was the central management and maintenance of the communications solutions in an efficient and cost efficient way.

After partnering with RingCentral Australia Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of RingCentral, Inc., it now has an entirely new global communications solution that includes access to phone, conferencing and video solutions as well as support for those offerings via a managed cloud solution.

"RingCentral has given us the ability to conduct business from anywhere while appearing always as local, which is a big cost saving and customer service advantage," said Michael Russo, IT Director, Tritium.

"We can now also route calls from customers worldwide to the right account representative or technical engineer, dependent on their specific requirements, where they are located, and also taking into account their time zone. Additionally, we have about 40 developers and engineers in our team who are keen to explore the RingCentral platform to enable additional functionality and workflow integration with our other cloud business applications."

RingCentral Inc. recently announced the company’s Q4 2019 Earnings and highlighted its strong fourth quarter results as well as the announcement that the company had surpassed its long-term goal of $1 billion in annual revenue run rate ahead of schedule.
