Melrose Labs Now Offering Cloud Communications in Europe

More businesses today are adopting cloud communications. In a bid to become the top provider in Europe, Melrose Labs,a new UK-based start-up, has launched its first services for businesses in the region. Its new voice and messaging offerings make it possible for businesses to deliver top-quality customer service while improving operational efficiencies.

Included as part of the company’s service portfolio are CPaaS, SaaS and UCaaS offerings for mobile, satellite, fixed line and internet communications.  

Company officials hope their competitive advantage and easy integration will put them on par with other large players in the space including Twilio, Vonage, RingCentral and others.

In Europe, adoption of cloud services is on the rise for businesses looking to innovate. A study by Mitel found  81 percent of European companies rated access to innovative features not available with traditional telephony solutions as their main motivation for migrating to a cloud model.

To help with realizing their strategic goals, Melrose Labs also said they may pursue investments in the future and would consider acquisitions as part of their growth plans.

Other services to be launched in 2020 include a “Tyr SMS Gateway” for Bulk SMS / Wholesale SMS providers as well as a broad range of APIs for developers. The aim is to make reliable SMS texting between staff, customers and partners possible. Functions like converting speech to text and texts to lifelike speech are just some of the possibilities. There is also a Campaign feature to provide messaging options for advertising purposes. Broadcasting information about promotions, data in emergencies and more will be made possible using the services.
