Vonage Business Cloud Brings Team Together with VonageFlow

Vonage announced the addition of VonageFlow to the Vonage Business Cloud (VBC) platform. The workstream collaboration solution delivers voice, SMS, file sharing, messaging  to the team across devices.

VonageFlow is integrated within the VBC architecture, providing comprehensive collaboration capabilities through a single interface. Complete functionality is supported on the VBC mobile, desktop or web app, enabling users to enjoy a streamlined experience.

"VonageFlow allows SMS and social messages to be routed directly into a team messaging environment. For instance, when customers contact a company with an issue via SMS or Social Messaging, all team members associated with that extension or business inbox would receive the message in real-time, no matter their location. This allows for more immediate recognition of customer issues and more efficient resolution," said Brian Gilman, VP Product Marketing at Vonage.

Communications are transitioning. Email is moving out of favor as the primary means of communication in the enterprise. Teams need solutions capable of supporting the free flow of brainstorming, executing strategy, crafting a campaign or delivering customer service. From file sharing and SMS, to video and social media, teams are communicating differently than ever before, and the cloud is making it possible.

Gilman explained, "The team then has the ability to quickly collaborate to resolve the issue by sharing digital content; looping in additional colleagues as needed; and replying back to the customer, all within one simple platform."
