Harley Davidson Turns to Star2Star for Communications Tune-Up

When Harley Davidson pops in my mind I think Steppenwolf and Easy Rider, just me? For more than a century the Milwaukee-based motorcycle manufacturer has served those “Born 2 Ride” with a passport to adventure, and the freedom of the open road. While its products are industry leading, Harley Davidson’s communications systems are overdue for overhaul.

This week, Star2Star announced a successful integration with HigherGear, the Harley Davidson dealership CRM platform. Making this possible was Star2Star’s integration platform as a service, StarPaaS that allows for quick customized development and deployment.

Harley Davidson’s legacy system proved troublesome for SB Atlantic Communications to complete integration, which is when it turned to Star2Star. Now, the motorcycle manufacturer is leveraging StarBox Voice optimized SD-WAN to deliver Call Detail Record (CDR) info like call duration, date, time or caller ID. The new services in place empower Harley Davidson to deliver an improved customer experience as a result.
