Big or small; local, regional, national or international regardless of the type or size of your business, a healthy bottom line begins with communication. The cloud is empowering a new era of collaboration, and innovation leading industry through this phase of digital transformation driving focus on this up and coming computing phenomenon.

This week, cloud communication firm nexVortex announced the successful acquisition of Northwest Vox. nexVortex can already tout market presence in SIP Trunking and hosted voice services, but with this new acquisition, it can build on other recent acquisitions with the addition of another voice service.

“A key differentiator of nexVortex is our deep expertise in cloud communications which we have built over the past 11 years of commercial service,” said nexVortex President and CEO, Fred Fromm. “Our tools, processes, and operational discipline allow us to quickly integrate acquired companies like Northwest Vox with minimal disruption. We are looking forward to delivering our new customers the level of Uncommon Service which has become our hallmark.”

nexVortex is clearly aimed at building through acquisition, leveraging the strong foundation of eight consecutive years of quarter over quarter growth to allow the communications provider the resources to strike when opportunity arises. With the UCaaS market on the rise, don’t be surprised to see nexVortex continue to utilize the strategy of M&A for future growth.

“The synergies found both in technology and cultural focus, have been incredible as we’ve worked with the team at nexVortex. The expertise that this acquisition brings to the table, on both sides, is truly exciting,” said Northwest Vox Founder and CEO, Casey Strom. “The increased resources and the experience which the nexVortex team has, makes this a tremendous combination for both companies and for our customers.”

While cloud communications continue on a disruptive path to ubiquity, it’s no surprise to see market players jockey for position. Remember, the cloud is no passing fad, and with innovation leading the way, the sky is the limit.
