Digerati Acquires VoIP Provider T3

Yesterday, Digerati, a technology service provider based out of Texas, announced it has acquired a new asset in the world of cloud based communications. The company has acquired T3, a Florida based provider of VoIP solutions for businesses. This is part of a push by Digerati to expand further into the cloud based communications space and provide cheaper and more effective communications solutions aimed at businesses. The acquisition expands the reach and breadth of Digerati offerings without sacrificing the personal service that has been its hallmark.

“T3 Communications aligned perfectly with our strategic plan and acquisition criteria for revenue, profitability, and superior customer service with what we call 'local touch,’” said Arthur L. Smith, CEO of Digerati. “During the due diligence phase, we were most impressed with the T3 Team and its culture of genuine care for customers. You can't build a profitable company with T3's reputation, respected brand, and high customer retention without committed employees who make customer support a priority. We are excited about the tremendous value these attributes will bring to our combined offerings in the lucrative corridors we serve in Texas and Florida.”

The acquisition will give Digerati access to a whole new client base in Fort Meyers. T3 already has immense trust among customers in that area, earning a 99 percent customer satisfaction rating. In addition, it will be able to begin offering those same trusted products in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. T3 will continue to operate under the same name and management as a part of the Digerati portfolio.

“We are excited to be the cultural and operational foundation of Digerati's acquisition strategy during this opportunistic period of growth in our industry,” said T3 CEO Josh Reel. “Acquiring other profitable, regional cloud communication providers who manage to the same low attrition rates as we have done is a winning strategy we embrace with enthusiasm. Our obsession with customer service will undoubtedly continue to set us apart from the national and incumbent providers in our industry that are known to inadequately support the small-to-medium sized business.”

This is a move that should benefit both sides. This banding together of regional cloud communications providers is a trend that should continue as the industry continues to grow.
