Reflecting On Nextiva's Business VoIP Achievements

October 16, 2008

By Michelle Robart, Business VoIP Editor

With the small to medium business viewed as the next exciting area of opportunity in the growth of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Nextiva continues to bring its award-winning line of VoIP phone solutions to help thousands of businesses run professional phone systems at low flat-rates.

Ever since Alexander Graham Bell transmitted the first complete sentence by voice over wire using his newly-invented telephone in the United States in 1876, businesses of all sizes have relied on telephones for their daily operations. The pre-VoIP business of today can use a premises-based telephone system (such as a key system or PBX) for their business locations, or can use network-based (hosted) solution.

Every Nextiva service plan includes flat-rate pricing along with quality features like an auto-attendant, music-on-hold, visual voicemail and the company’s award-winning customer support.

Introduced in March 2006, the Nextiva Connect360 phone service offers unlimited local and long distance calling. Nextiva’s Connect360 unlimited allows customers to call anywhere in the United States and Canada as much as they want at no additional charge. Nextiva’s flat-rate pricing informs users about their service costs without them having to guess.

Aiming to stand out from the average business phone service provider, in August 2007, the company announced it would not bind any customer to a service contract or add penalty charges to a service cancellation.

This announcement freed every Nextiva customer from being locked in to any service agreement. By offering no contracts or cancellation fees, Nextiva became one of the very few phone companies to offer a contract-free service.

In more recent news, famous for speed and the effectiveness of its customer support, Nextiva announced the latest version of its Office Manager control panel in July 2008.

Current Nextiva users can take advantage of the updated version of Nextiva’s Office Manager control panel. With the new Office Manager, Nextiva users can manage all aspects of their account more efficiently via the Web. The updated Office Manager control panel is just one of the latest additions to Nextiva’s already robust VoIP business phone service.

Nextiva was also recognized as the #1 Business VoIP Provider by MyVoIPProvider.com for the month of June 2008.

Nextiva received this honorable award based on its proven leadership in quality of service and overall value. Nextiva was chosen based on feedback from site visitors about customer service, price, and reliability.
